Ian Taylor, 29 goals
Taylor started his top-flight career with Sheffield Wednesday after impressing for Port Vale.
His Wednesday career stalled, after just 14 games he was signed by the club he supported as a boy Aston Villa.
Taylor would go on to play 233 games for the Villains and become a club legend winning the player of the year in 1993 along the way.
Taylor is the first midfielder in our report scoring a not too shabby 29 Premier League goals. Taylor can still be seen at Villa matches and has a regular column in the matchday programme.
